What has the “corona virus” taught us?

These are my takes from the current situation of the world.

Its almost has been 6 months since the disease (dis-aster) struck the human race. Originating in Wuhan and Hubei provinces in China. From then on it has been busy and is currently in very known courtry.

Not that this is the first time a global pandemic has destroyed human lives and it certainly isn’t the last. Humans are driven by greed, and it’ll not be suprising if that will be the fundamental cause for human extinction let alone nuclear Holocaust or an asteroid collision.

Countries are declaring lockdowns for 2 – 3 months, with strict policies and restrictions. It has forced us to stay indoors and reminded that your family is the most important thing in world. It has given us time to interact and express everything which had been suppressed under a cover a “busy lifestyle” Work, studies, life goals and in achieving them.

Nearly 11 percent of world (i.e 815 million people) is unable to feed itself. World leaders, goverments,NGO’s,billionaires are trying hard to eradicate hunger, is a deadly pandemic is the catalyst for this process?

Poor are getting the attention and the support that has been known to us but never acted upon.

Cities are getting cleaner, the nature is healing from a long haul human pollution. Delhi which had been at a stage where mere breathing is hazardous..we didn’t have the courage to implement a lockdown. Well the mother nature has done it’s job it’s own way. People are being generous and kind in every way they can be.

I hope that when this all ends the lesson doesn’t go away with the disaster. We sit and we look back at the crisis. If we could do all the things being done to help people without needing an axe swinging above our heads. That’ll go a long way in saving humanity.
